Find your problem
Common problems we fix
Start with what you can see. Tap a problem for a quick explanation—only the useful detail opens, so this list can grow without taking over the page.
Leaks & dripping pipesVisible pipework, joints and hidden leaks
We locate the source, isolate it safely, then repair or replace the failed section. If water is spreading quickly, call us rather than waiting for a callback.
Taps & sinksDrips, stiff handles and new fittings
We repair worn cartridges and leaking connections, replace damaged taps, and fit new kitchen or bathroom fixtures neatly.
Toilets & cisternsConstant running, poor flushes and overflows
From inlet valves and flush mechanisms to stubborn blockages, we diagnose the cause and get the toilet working properly again.
Low pressure & no waterWeak flow, airlocks and supply issues
We check isolation points and internal pipework, trace restrictions or faults, and explain clearly if the issue belongs to your water supplier.
Stopcocks & valvesSeized, leaking or broken controls
We free, service or replace valves so you can control the water safely now—and isolate it quickly if there is ever a problem.
New plumbing & appliancesWashing machines, dishwashers and fixtures
We add or alter pipework, connect appliances, fit fixtures and test everything before we leave.
Burst pipe or major leakMake safe first, then repair
Turn off your stopcock if it is safe to do so, then call. We prioritise active leaks, isolate the supply and make the property safe before repairing the fault.
Pipework changesRepairs, rerouting and tidy upgrades
We replace ageing pipework, reroute awkward runs and prepare plumbing for renovations with minimal disruption.

Common questions
Do you charge a call-out fee?+
We publish our rates clearly and explain what applies before an engineer attends. You agree the work after the on-site diagnosis. Hourly bookings have a half-hour minimum — see our pricing page for full policy.
Can you come the same day?+
Often, yes. Availability varies by area and workload, so call for the quickest answer.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?+
Active flooding, uncontrollable leaks, loss of your only water supply or sanitation problems that cannot be safely contained should be treated urgently. Call us rather than waiting for a callback.
Should I turn the water off before you arrive?+
Yes if you can — use the indoor stopcock or the outside stopcock. If you can’t find it, contain the leak with towels and call us; we’ll isolate on arrival.
Do you charge more at night or weekends?+
Yes. Published evening and late-night hourly rates apply outside weekday daytime hours. We’ll confirm the band when you call.
